OK, so i’ve not blogged in nearly a month now. Sorry, But if your still reading this, You really have to question your motives for still visting my blog, Why read something that’s always the same? But anyway onto my reasoning for my.. lack of… whatever you’d call it. Anyway I had a whole series of blog posts lined up and alot of ideas in my head. Then last tuesday, my laptops power supply blew out, literally. I took it apart the next day and it looked like it had caught on fire inside, but it was only a small fire. It was 5 days before my friend got a new power supply to me.
Then, on monday morning of this week the computer messed me about again. This time I started it up, everything was fine, loaded up msn, then left it to go and do some work. When I came back 30 minutes later, it threw up a win32 error. Nothing big I thought. It happens quite alot. So I restarted. Problem. After I’d restarted It couldn’t detect Windows.. It was saying the OS wasn’t there and my rebootable disk with windows on wasn’t working either.

Now I would have been really screwed. But luckily I’d burned some old Linux discs a few months back so Im using those, until I can find a soloution. But It won’t let me install linux on the hard drive for another strange reason. So im just booting it straight off a disc. Which makes it extremly laggy, and means I can’t do more than one thing literally. I can’t talk on Msn/Play rs/Browse forums, without it lagging out. I can only do anyone of those things at a time. So if I take a little longer to reply on msn, or im not online at times I normally would be, that is why. I hope to either get windows to work, or linux to install on my hard drive so it won’t lag as much. I really don’t want to have to boot it off the disc until I can scrape enough money together to buy a laptop. I will be blogging a little more often now, And I have a blog post that has been in production for some months, that will be interesting to some of you who know me and my eating habits well.
