Another Rant.
Ok was reading some peoples blogs (not rsbandb) and several myspaces. And So many young people have some sort of ridiculous life plan. OMG IM GOING TO GO TO THIS COLLEGE/UNIVERISTY AND GET THIS JOB AND EARN THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY A YEAR AND HAVE SO MANY KIDS OMG OMG LIFE WILL BE GREAT. Fuck off, sad moronic little people. Haven’t you ever thought you CAN’T plan life. You CAN’T say what will happen tommorow or the day after. You want kids? You might fall in love with someone who doesn’t. You want to get a high paying job? Maybe a little simpler. Providing you get through school and university, you might not be able to get a job with your qualifications. There might be no vacancies. There might be 1,000 other people with the same degree as you. You want to plan your life? Ok if it lights up your sad little insignificant life for a few minutes, just remember. It won’t go to plan. It never does. So continue being a sad naive moron, maybe when you grow up a little you’ll understand the world a bit better.

Put this together with your with your panic at the disco post and you have yourself the reason (at least in my opinion) why globalization, commercialization, and specialization (all the things we’ve praised over that last 100 years) have fucked up our society so bad. People want to be a fad. They want to be consumed by society, specialized, part of a bigger picture. No one wants to step outside and say “I can do my own thing” I can start my own company, make my own rules, and I can be my own person. Not in todays society. It is all about getting a stereotypical job, with a stereotypical wife, that leads to a stereotypical family/ life. Welcome to the present! Change is scary, change is bad, and change can’t be controlled therefore I avoid change. I disagree with you slightly. You can plan. It is okay to shoot for something. But plan for you plans to change because they will whether you like it or not. Be flexible, and stand up for what you want. You have to be different and self motivated in this world to get what you want. Not everything is just going to come to your or go as planned.
