Friendly Fire
Last night, while watching the British news. I saw a report on the British serviceman who was tragically killed in a horrific accident last week. He was killed by an American fighter Jet who fired on the friendly vehicle due to incorrect information from the control centre. I’m not blaming the fighter jet or the person who gave the order to fire. That’s not really the point of this post. As the report concluded they interviewed a friend of the pilot in Boise, Idaho. This crackpot was a Vietnam war veteran, and this is where my blood boiled. The man claimed that the pilot who killed a completely innocent man in a tragic accident was “an all American hero”, that Europe and Britain as a whole were not cooperating in America’s quest to “rid the world of terrorism” and showed absolutely no remorse or sympathy. He continued to bash the British and Europeans in general saying we needed to “Get off our asses and do something” and claimed “We were useless in world war 2″. In case he has forgotten. America only became involved in WW2 when your own land was attacked. Hardly virtuous.
Many Americans may fail to understand why the rest of the world hates them so. Maybe when you stop and look at yourselves in the mirror and listen to what your people say about us it will all become a lot clearer.
Yeah I see were you are coming from in saying that America is like that. But you have to understand that one of the biggest things is world new is how others hate America. The new over express’s this, and make’s it seem like other extreamly hate us when actully this isent true. Sure they dissagree with us, but the news take the opinion’s of a couple people and compar’s it to the whole. I for sure dont hate Britton, or Germany. I have been to both places and have family in Germany and Friends in Britton.
It is really a shame that that fighter acedently killed that man. And I feel really sorry for the man that died.
I hope that this whole god damn war would get over with.

Brad isn’t this the antithesis of your blog later on? Come on man you take one example and call that American. So the media (full of assholes universally) picks some backwoods nut from Vietnam that probably got hit with a nerve agent of some sort. Why the hell would you blame all Americans for his opinion…and why would you even bother contemplating it?
