Why I Don’t Like Opera.

A guy posted that on this story on Digg, which is about a Firefox image on a bank card. It had no relevance to Firefox as a browser whatsoever. There seems to be a culture among the majority of the Opera users that amounts to “OMG my browser loads 0.0000000001 second faster than yours, my browser is better!!11111″. Who really cares? Your just demeaning yourself over something as trivial as a web browser.

  1. Ah, but would the world be without meaningless detrimental arguments?

  2. Why do people argue over PS3, XBOX360 and the Wii?

  3. Yeah It’s the same thing really. Seems like such a frivolous thing to argue over.

  4. A simple thing and yet people make such a fuss about it.

  5. Well, people who say things like that are usually sheep anyway.

  6. **baa**

The point is we all do it once in a while. The key is to have the self-awareness to say afterwards “what the hell was I doing” and not fall into that loyalty trap again.

I’ve done it a couple times on RSB&B…where I was like “why did I even waste my time posting. That is why I don’t even bother with the religious topics anymore…we can’t know the answer so either you have a philosophical arguement on the merits of faith and religion as well as the detriments (very rare case) or you have a flame war (most common case. So I just try to stay out of things based on loyalties unless it is just good hearted jeering. :D

  7. Weird you say that meesekiller. I was away for the past 4 days, did quite a bit of thinking about the whole religious debate and concluded it’s all pointless because we can never arrive at a logical conclusion. It’s all based on what people choose to believe and it’s pointless arguing over it.

  8. Oh wait. Yes, I have. I’m sorry, but I just don’t have it in me right now to type it all out again. Besides, it was just ramblings anyway. You didn’t want to hear me go on and on about this, right?
