Ok so I was just talking to Mike on msn, after recording the update (first ever show without Shane ;o) and he asked if I knew how the Zybez podcast was coming along. To be honest I’d completely forgotten about that whole thing, if you want reference I made a blog post here about it when they first announced their idea a few months ago.

They first made the forum and the stickies in April, over 4 months later and they still haven’t even announced when their first episode, or indeed a preview will still be out. Many people in the RSC community have obviously been waiting for this, and a question asking as to when it will be realeased (which after 4 months of nothing, and no updates on the situation, is a pretty reasonable question to ask I think) a mod answers it with this.

We will tell you details when we know them ourselves. The podcast will come out when it comes out.

Firstly, why is a mod who obviously has no dealings with the podcast (I assume they don’t, as they’re saying they don’t know) trying to answer a question about the podcast. Secondly, IT WILL BE OUT WHEN IT’S OUT? Dumbfuck statement of the year. You created your forums for it 4 months ago, you put up stickies, 4 months ago, you asked people for questions 4 MONTHS AGO. Don’t expect people to not be curious, or to not question why you haven’t got off your asses and done something.

The Podcast is starting as soon as we can put together a stable team for it. While I’m not too sure what is going to be contained in it, it can be suspected things like Rs News, Zybez News, interviews, etc. To be on the Podcast you’d have to contact Jeff I believe.

Its not hard to record a podcast once a week, and editing, assuming you don’t fuck up too much during the recording (which, given the abillities you’ve demonstrated on the aptitude of your answers, you will, ALOT). It doesn’t take long, RSBANDBUpdate! is about an hour, roughly, recording each week. Shane spends a further 20-30 minutes recording, possibly less depending on how much I happen to have uttered swears that particular week. And also why would you put up a forum and questions topics and various stickies if you DIDN’T have a team in place to record? Sort the team out first, forum later? Morons.

You’re all substance, no podcast. And when people question you, you can’t even give half decent answers.
