Ok, so you won us the war did you? I don’t think charging in halfway through the battle qualifies much as a gallant victory, or qualifies you as saviours, if you saved our asses, then why didn’t you lose more troops in combat? Surely if we were ‘losing’ without you, it would have required a great effort on your part to turn the tide, and surely that would mean losing more troops? Oh no.. You only got involved when your own territories were attacked, how very chilvarious of you, despite the fact the occupation had already been going on for two years, you only got involved when you had something to lose. If anything, the USSR won us the war. Stop bitching on about how you saved us, and how great you are, and if any American dares to argue that less of your troops died because of the fact they were better trained at combat.. screw it, you’re obviously so deluded you don’t even deserve to be rebuked.

I agree. I think that America’s claim to have won the war is quite absurd. Had it not been for Great Britain and the USSR, the Nazis would have quickly gained control of much of Europe before the US could mobilise.

Kids in USA are taught like that in school, so it is only natural to expect this point of view from adults. Actually, the same shit happened in USSR schools. I’ve been taught that USSR won the war and the allies did nothing useful. As usual nobody tells full truce. World history is a fiction. Always been fiction and always will be.
And by the way the charts you refer to are rigged too. They show Latvia and Lithuania as separate countries but they were part of USSR during the war. If you separate like that, Belarus and Ukraine should have been there too. Belarus lost 25% of all people… I don’t know anybody there who hadn’t lost close relatives in that war…
