America Doesn’t Have A Gun Problem? You Have The Right To ‘Bear Arms’? Fuck You
While reading the Wikipedia article about the Finnish school shooting I saw a link to another article entitled ‘List of school-related attacks’ So out of curiosity, I clicked and read it. It’s a compilation of all the school-related violence that have left people pretty seriously injured or dead. And surprise surprise, most of the events listed took place in the US, and most involve guns. I counted these figures up myself:
7 Shootings at schools in the US dating back from 1981, were perpitrated by people above school age.
68* Shootings at schools in the US dating back from 1956, were perpitrated by people of school age.
*(Not Including 4 cases of suicide at school where nobody else but the shooter was harmed)
The 68 shootings by people of school age resulted in 106 deaths and 182 injuries.
Of course, there are other countries on that list. But if you added the deaths from shootings in schools in other countries all up together, and tripled them. You wouldn’t come close to the number the mighty US of A has chalked up. And you still think guns are good? You think you need them for protection? Fuck you. If you think your protection is worth 106 young people and teachers dieing, at the hands of their peers and students. You don’t deserve to be alive.
So come patriots, justify your guns to me. With something other than the boring old ‘constitution’ rhetoric. Bet you can’t.
