RSBANDB Is Not Boring, You Are.
Ok. So I was typing up a blog post about christmas and how the idea of santa arriving by boat at some event where I live is stupid. But then I realised that was a crap thing to rant about and nobody really gives a shit. So I’ve decided to turn my attention, closer to home.. so to speak. And I’ll keep this short.
Sometime last week (I forget when) there was a little stir on the forums prompted by people actually thinking the sandbox may be removed by Mike & Shane to boost overall activity in other areas of the forum. Since decent topics have been somewhat lacking recently.
You know whos fault it is if there are no decent topics on the forum for discussion? Yours.
You know who can change that, make decent topics, provoke discussion? You
Forum activity is likely to go down. Summer has moved on, people are back at school, or maybe even work. I certainly have not had as much time for RSBANDB as I had during the summer. And I don’t post as much. It’s the same every year. Activity goes down, posts go down, the number of people on the forums goes down. It does not mean RSBANDB is dieing, or getting any worse.
So next time you feel like having a little rant, about the lack of ‘good’ topics and about how boring RSBANDB is. Remember one thing; a forum is only as entertaining and fun to read as its users. So you are not criticizing RSBANDB. You are criticizing yourselves.
Didn’t something similar happen last year when summer ended and school started again- “OMG RSBANDB is dieing, all freak out@@”?

Yup. Something very similar happened last year as well.
Oh well. Such is the life of a forum.
