I’ve watched that video a hundred times or more already. God I love to see Aussies getting pissed off.
I guess when sporting achievement is the only thing your country has and you get your asses handed to you by a country as shit at sport as the UK then you’re bound to be pissed off. My advice to Australians? Suicide is the only option.

As many of you may know. I have a MacBook. I bought it back in February to use for work. Cost me around £800 (cleaned my account at the time) but I’d been seduced by all the information and pretty pictures on the Apple site. Fuck stats or specifications, If it looks pretty I will buy it. Yes, I am that shallow.

However since getting it I’ve hardly used it. I’d probably say in the.. 6 months I’ve had it I’ve spent under 10 hours using it. Seriously. So it surprised me and infuriated me last week when the trackpad started acting very strange. It was clicking at really random times and the mouse clicking button itself wasn’t working at all. It just seemed to click when it liked. It took me a while to figure out this seemed to be linked to the fact the battery had a huge bulge in it.

So naturally I went on the apple site to try and figure out how to get it fixed. First grievance: The apple technical help site is BULLSHIT it’s about as easy to navigate as a never ending maze. I literally couldn’t find ANYTHING of help in there. It seemed to me they were trying as hard as possible to stop people accessing technical help. Luckily however I managed to find out there was a computer shop that were linked with Apple in my local town. So the next day I took a trip to Cheltenham and to this shop. The guy behind the counter seemed about as interested in my problem as I am in the problems of anybody else. The only difference is I am not payed to be interested in other peoples problems. This morose fucker is. But he took my macbook and after 20 minutes having a look at it and ‘checking’ the warranty he told me he’d have sent away to ‘Apple’ and call me back when they’d returned it. Where apple is I have no idea. But I’m guessing it begins with C, ends in A and is currently hosting the Olympics.

3 days later I had a call from another man who told me my battery was ready. Went back, picked it up. Done. Problem solved. Apple Customer service = Fast, yet angsty and uncaring.

Now unlike a lot of other people, I’ve not really been terribly anti sandbox. I still post in it from time to time and until very recently I believed it to be a focal part of RSBANDB. It was something that set us apart from other forums. A place where members had a lot more freedom (relatively speaking) and could treat it almost like a chat room of sorts. Sure some pretty ugly stuff can happen in there from time to time but for the most part it remains pretty civil.. Right? Wrong. Maybe that viewpoint would have been more fitting 6 months ago. But in the last 6 months the sandbox has taken one further horrific mutation in it’s journey towards complete idiocy and moronic behavior.

Now it is little more than a place for people to mindlessly spam, a place for people to turn what may have been perfectly civil discussions in to the most sly and childish mud slinging matches by the second post. The level of immaturity is almost staggering and I can see why many choose to avoid it all together.

The biggest problem of all is that most of the underhanded and childish behavior that goes on here is ‘above the rules’ so to speak. If we punished it many would cry out that we were being too ‘heavy handed’ or unfair. There is nothing we can do to stop this epidemic of idiocy. As much as we’d like to.

As much as it would upset a lot of people, and many may leave, I think removing the sandbox would be the best for the community. Anybody who leaves just because they don’t have the sandbox to post in is worth losing.

Now my personal opinion of Hancock was mixed. I thought it started very well, had a very interesting and well thought out story at the beginning. But after that it went down hill very fast and by the end, it was nothing more than a cheesy, over rated, Hollywood piece of trash. The final nail in the coffin for me was the cringe worthy ‘and everyone lives happy ever after’ ending. Had it not been for this it may have been able to scrape itself out of the hole of seriously lacking story beyond the first 30 minutes and a rather weird revelation around half way through. Anyone who’s seen it will know what I mean. I’m not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

It pisses me off the number of potentially good Hollywood films these days ruin themselves, and shoot themselves in the foot with blatant overuse of romance and cliche endings. Iron Man did this as well. There was no real need for the romance in Iron Man, the ending to Iron Man didn’t go as much downhill as Hancock, but it seemed to trail off without leaving any lasting impact. Although the final line was rather cool. Stupid romance and happy endings inserted to make films more main stream is just hard to watch.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not against ‘Happily ever after’ endings totally. But I think it should only be used when it is fitting to the story. I think far too many films just tack on a happily ever after ending to try and appeal more to the masses. Now lets be honest, the majority of people are so fucking pathetic they want a happy ending, regardless of the story. The majority of people also live with their head in the clouds, go figure.

Now on to my argument against happy endings. No Country For Old Men. I’m guessing at least a few of you reading this must have seen it. If you haven’t, go see it. It’s a bloody amazing film. It doesn’t have that much of a gripping storyline, But it’s very watchable. And well I don’t want to spoil the ending but unless you’ve read the book, I very much doubt you’d be able to guess what happens. I’ll tell you one thing though, nobody lives ‘Happily ever after’.

Trust me…

Anyway, I was on an airplane flight two days ago, and sitting behind me was the devil incarnate in child form. This little bastard kicked the back of my seat, screamed and yelled and also continually pushed his hands in between the seats for the entire two hour flight while his liberal ass hippy parents sat back and smiled with a grin so creepy it made the Joker look normal. Why the fuck do parents allow their bastard children to be so dam rude in public. If that had been my kid I’d have yelled so loud and done anything reasonable with in my power to stop it, and even failing that would have been embarrassed that my child was causing so much distress to other people. But these two fucking left wing assholes looked as though they couldn’t have cared less if the child had hopped down off his seat and ran up to the cockpit and plunged the plane in to a nose dive.

And it’s not just airplanes. Seems like anywhere I see small children they’re screaming or crying or yelling or making some annoyance of themselves, and it’s all the parents fault. I don’t give a shit what anybody says, the way a child turns out is a direct reflection on the parents. This is especially telling at young ages. I’ve asked my parents multiple times and they’ve confirmed that I never screamed or shouted or yelled in public as a small child. I never made a scene in a public place or made a nuisance of myself. You know why? Because my parents raised me correctly.

The screaming toddlers of today are the impetuous teens and then incompetent adults of tomorrow.

When I returned yesterday (having completely forgotten about the whole thing) I logged in to my blogs admin cp and found I had.. wait
for it 66 comments awaiting to be moderated. At first I assumed spam bots had been targeting the blog again (Sometimes askimet doesn’t
auto-delete them, and just puts them in the moderating queue) But after going through the first few pages I realized that these were in fact
numerous ‘hate-comments’ from the retarded Australian and her (yes, pretty sure my latest psycho-hater is a female, but no it’s not the one
you’re all thinking of) associates. After filtering out a few genuine comments I was left with a grand total of 58 comments from around 5-6
different I.Ps. Talk about obsessed.

The majority of the comments simply reiterated the original comment in the blog post. Calling me an idiot, fat, saying I have no friends.
You know the usual 12 year old insults. Several by a person naming themselves ‘Brad is a fat bastrad’ accused me of deleting their comments
because I was ‘afraid of their intelligence’. How did they figure that? Like I said; the only thing the comments had to say were basically echos
of what the original comment had already said. If I was trying to silence you then I would haven’t made a blog post highlighting the original comment
in the first place. I could have deleted it, had the I.Ps banned from the site and adequately hidden the criticism If I’d chosen to do so. But I wanted
everyone to see it. The blocking of further comments was simply to piss these little bastards off. And it seemed to work magnificently seeing as the
last few comments even made death threats.

Now ask yourself. Do I really hate Australia? Does a country I’ve only ever visited once, a few years back, and don’t really have anything to do with
in my day to day life really bother me that much? Of course it doesn’t you fucking morons. Anybody with an ounce of intelligence could tell I never
really had a big issue with Australia. Fuck me, half the time I made blog posts criticizing it I was literally struggling to come up with any decent
points. Yeah sure, I don’t like the place. I’m not exactly fond of Australia and I don’t think it’s that great a country, but I don’t dislike it enough to write a whole slew of serious blog posts about it. But in trolling, I have proven at least a fair number of Aussies are in fact retards. As the comment displayed in the post below shows. Proving a point I didn’t really believe in my self until those morons came marching in.

My many blog posts slating Australia were a form of TROLLING. You people familiar with that? When you post something you know other people are going to be baited by and will likely post a nice big response and take you seriously, or failing that just flat out insult you. Trolling exposes idiots. People who are incapable of seeing what is in front of their noses. My original intentions were to troll my friends. I know a fair few Australians, most of them are grossly patriotic fucks. And I always enjoyed trying to pull their strings. But as anybody who goes back to read the old posts will tell you; I didn’t succeed in trolling any of my friends. All those attempts failed.

What I did succeed at though, was even better. Months and months after making the original posts, in sporadic bursts I have been swamped with moronic and idiotic comments from people I don’t even know. People I’ve never heard of or spoken to before, and most likely never will again, have taken my bait like true retards and exposed themselves as the lowest of the low, and the dumbest of the dumb. Not only do they fail to spot it’s clearly a joke, satire even, they make unfounded and idiotic comments towards my personal life. Not only taking my point seriously to being with (which is bad enough) but going the extra mile of insulting me for it as well.

Remember kids, Insulting random people over the internet is like trying to fire water out of a shotgun; Not only do you fail to achieve your desired aim, you make yourself look like a retard in the process.

The internet is not only a good place to remain annoymous, it’s also a good place to disguise true intelligence. I know plenty of intelligent people in real life who act like, and come across as complete dumbasses on the internet. So I don’t think for one second that anybody who I happen to come across on a net forum is as intelligent, or not, as their posts may tend to suggest. I know many people like to project a persona of intelligence. That’s obvious from simply looking at their posts, their signatures, the quotes or words they happen to put therein. Quoting Darwin, Dawkins, Nietzsche, Marx or any other great thinker or philosopher does not make you look intelligent.

Taking somebody elses words and holding them up as absolute truth and brilliance is not intelligent either. It is the exact opposite. To simply accept something as truth because X person said it is the exact same quality that so many of you charlatans ridicule within religion. You say people are idiots for believing the bible just because people tell them to. Yet you believe what people say just because of who they are. Is that not on the same level of idiocy? I am not defending religion, or people who believe the bible. I am simply pointing out the blatant hypocrisy.

If you are all as intelligent and wise as you would like your posts to project, why not go out in to the world and do something worthwhile with your time? You see, I feel if the topics that are debated on the internet forums, were to take place in a real debating society. None of you idiots would have the balls to stand up and say the things you post.

Now to those of you who don’t play WoW. You may be unfamiliar with the concept of ‘raiding’. So I’ll clarify this for you now as much of this post won’t make sense without that knowledge. When you reach the max level in WoW (currently 70) there are a number of ‘raid dungeons’ you can go and kill monsters in. But you can’t do this alone, you’ll need to join a raiding guild. Raids typically require 25 people to kill ‘bosses’ and other mobs in difficult high end dungeons. Here are some quick examples of WoW bosses. Those of you who have played WC3 but not WoW may recognise some of them;

Now these fights can be quite complex, they require a great deal of co-ordination and skill (as skillfull as a game like WoW can be) to take them down. They aren’t difficult per say, but everyone in your raid has to know what they’re doing. And when new content comes out and people are unaware of how to kill the newest bosses. The world best raiding guilds are really distinguished from the mediocre ones. Most of the top guilds race to get the ‘world first kill’ on new bosses. This creates rivalry, not just between guilds, but between Europe and North America (+ Australia) since the two server regions in WoW are split.

In the past 2 years of raiding a European guild called Nihilum has dominated the majority of world first kills. And in general European guilds get the majority of world first kills, and generally steam roll content before American ones do. What makes this even more hilarious is that the Americans have had a 24 hour head start on EVERY boss for the past 2 years (apart from one I think). The US servers come down for maintinence every tuesday, and any new content is added and the game is updated then. The European servers don’t come down for maintinence and to get any new content until wednesday. The yanks have a full days advantange and still lose out on the majority of the first kills. This has obviously made the Americans extremely bitter. As any time new content pops up the US raiding forums fills with threads about how all Europeans live on welfare and play WoW 7 days a week. Or how the ones that do work only have to work 30 hours a week. It basically resorts to shit slinging. And it’s always the Americans that start it. It’s actually going on right now. A new boss has just been added to the game and all the top guilds are racing to get the first kill on him. I highly doubt any American guild will get the kill first. Looks to be between two European guilds.

Check out this thread in the US wow raiding forums. It’s much less a discussion about raiding and more a discussion on WW2 and how America ’saved Europes ass’ spliced with varius other patriotic American shit and excuses for why they fail at something as simple as a game even when they have the clear advantage. I guess co-ordination, team work, and logic is too much to expect from your average American WoW player.

Read the thread, even if you know nothing about WoW. It’ll give you some laughs.
